Lisa, aka tagged me to write 8 facts about myself and tag 8 other people...but I really don't like these chain-things so I will only write the facts.

1. My favourite instrument is the violin, I've always wanted to learn how to play it...perhaps I will one day.

2. I absolutely love the colour of the sky after the sunset, before it's completely dark - that intense blue is hypnotysing!

3. I collect postcards with paintings; my favourite ones so far are those of Degas', Klimt's and Susan Seddon Boulet's paintings.

4. Everything supernatural, fantastic bordering on morbid has a strange fascination on me - you must read Julio Cortazar's short stories and you'll understand, especially "The Night, Face Up" [link] , it's amazing and chilling!

5. Music and literature are two things I could never live (happily) without.

6. I'm far too romantic for my own good...I fear I will be terribly disappointed when my prince charming will fail to arrive and sweep me off my feet.

7. I love the sound and smell of the rain, or rather the smell of everything during the rain - especially in the summer.

8. I gather quotes I like from the books I read - I have a notebook for that but it appears to have mysteriously disappeared lately.

This was actually quite pleasant to write...except for the part when I clicked "Send" and I got an error, so I had to retype everything.
