I must say that so far I really like it here!
The campus is great, I like my room, I love my neighbors (3 from China, 2 from the UK and one from Zimbabwe!), they're all really nice. It's close to the university, just 15 min. on foot and it's in Birmingham's city center.
The UCB (University College of Birmingham) is great too so far, everything is more organized and easy than it was back home, the staff is unbelievably friendly and kind (so far...) and I must say that all in all, I really like it!
I've already made friends, which makes being away from home so much easier, and these first 2 weeks and a half have been quite busy! Classes started on Monday and they were quite interesting so far, although I'm a little overwhelmed by the amount of independent reading we are expected to do, but the library here is great.
I hope everything will be fine, that I'll manage with all the assignments and the reading lists and enjoy my time here as much as possible.
